In Innovation players lead a civilization by advancing through the ages of innovative ideas and discoveries. Innovation cards are laid out by number in a circle in the middle of the table for players to draw from. On a turn players get two actions and can draw, play, or activate the dogma text of a played card. The various dogmas can ether be shared cooperative actions or demands which negatively affect the other players. Dogmas may also give players the chance to score points toward winning the game and gaining achievements which can lead to the games end.
